Cider Heroes of the 21st Century
The Cider
Heroes are individuals who in a variety of ways have made a significant
contribution to the cider and perry industry.
Some of
the Cider Heroes may claim that they are ‘just doing their job’. However,
we believe that they are doing it with a dedication beyond their role.
This merits a wider recognition, hence their inclusion.
Other
Cider Heroes have initiated projects which have raised the profile of the cider
and perry industry because of their interest and commitment. Their
contribution to the industry is wide ranging, for example, tree preservation for
future generations, encouraging new cider makers, raising product standards (the
list of projects is endless).
If you know
someone (person or persons) who qualifies to join the Directory of Cider Heroes
