National Champions recognised at Ross Cider Festival 2006
 

The Gold Perry award was presented to Dave and Fiona Matthews from Glamorgan for their Seidr Dai Perry and the Silver Cider award was presented to Steve Burson from Drybrook for his Harechurch Dry Cider.

The Silver Perry award was presented to Mike Johnson from the Ross-on-Wye Cider & Perry Co Ltd who hosted the Cider Festival at Broome Farm in Peterstow.  On presenting the award Gillian Williams said ‘Mike’s perry has long been acknowledged privately as something to be savoured and this National Silver Champion Award confirms to everyone the exceptional quality of this drink.  The judges noted that it was an extremely well made and well balanced perry which is very drinkable.’
